About Me

Hi! Thanks for checking out my blog! I've always wanted to write one and love to read everyone else's, but I'm never really sure what to write, so here it goes!

A Little About Me
As a morning host for WPIX-TV, I have the privilege of waking up with New Yorkers every day, who get up before the sun comes up like I do! We start the show at 4:30am, but my day starts at 2:30am, so if you can't sleep, always know that I am up too! From 4:30-6am, I deliver the news with my awesome co-anchors, then from 6 - 9am, whether you like tech, fashion, going green, new restaurants or saving money, there is something for everyone.

My Past
In the past, my job as a journalist has allowed me to travel the world. In 2005, I flew to London for WCBS-TV to cover the London Bombings. I also had the chance to travel to Afghanistan to cover the war and live day by day alongside the troops. I received an Emmy Award in 2005 for Outstanding Investigative Journalism, and was also nominated for two Emmy Awards in 2004 for investigative work. After 9/11, I was honored with a Broadcast Journalism Award for contributions leading to improved aviation safety from the National Air Disaster Foundation at PIA.

My Present
When I am not at work, I have another love, matchmaking and dating coaching! My husband Matt Titus is a TV host, matchmaker and relationship expert and president of The Love Consultants who works with women helping them understand the male mind! Wish I had him when I was single!  We live in Manhattan with our two dogs, Chihuahuas, Matsen and Parker ! If you want to read some of our advice, we have co-authored Why Hasn't He Called? & Why Hasn't He Proposed? You can also read our advice at: www.AskMattAndTamsen.com.

My Future
I want to make a difference in people's lives, like my mother did.  I am very active in causes to raise breast cancer awareness, after losing my mother to breast cancer in 1990, so everyday I make a promise to help other women just like her.
